Toy Story

Toy Story and Toy Story 2 were the stories of the loveable characters Woody, Buzz Lightyear, and their various playroom friends. When their owner Andy isn't around, Woody and Buzz come "alive" and have a variety of adventures, from getting stolen by an evil toy collector, getting lost in a pizza parlor,to battling for the coveted spot of "Andy's Favorite Toy," Toy Story was and still is a hit with children of all ages.

It's no surprise that, considering the movies' immense popularity, that an assortment of Toy Story toys, figurines, and games became available. Years after the movie was released, Toy Story toys are still at the top of many children's Christmas wish lists.

• Toy Story Nerf Blastin' Zurg by Nerf ($22.99 on amazon.com). This fun toy features the bad guy from Toy Story. Push down on his head and he shoots out foam darts. Blastin' Zurg comes with 3 foam darts. While this is not really an educational toy, it's a lot of fun and your little Toy Story fan is sure to love it!
• Toy Story Mr. Potato Head by Hasbro ($7.97 on amazon.com). One of the favorite characters from Toy Story was the classic Mr. Potato Head! This Potato Head comes with 12 different parts your child can mix and match to act out different scenes from the movie. This is designed for children ages 2 and up, but it does come with small parts, so smaller children should be supervised when playing with it.
  

• Disney Toy Story and Beyond figurine set ($20.99 on amazon.com). This set of plush characters from Toy Story is a must for the Toy Story-lover! It comes with nine of the favorite characters from the movie, including Buzz, Woody, Bullseye, and Bo Peep. Your child will enjoy reenacting scenes from the movie with these figurines.
• Leap Pad Toy Story 2 ($12.59 on amazon.com). An educational toy that centers around Buzz and friends trying to find Woody, just like in Toy Story 2, the Leap Pad is designed specifically for children learning to read and teaches phonics while building vocabulary and reading comprehension.
• Toy Story Walkie Talkies ($14.99 on amazon.com). Shaped like Buzz Lightyear, these walkie talkies are a fun way for your little Toy Story fans to keep in touch. Buzz is poseable, as his arms and legs move as well as his head. Designed for children 4-8 years of age, these walkie talkies are fun and easy to use.
